Having been to both, I can tell you that they are very different and there are pros and cons to visiting each.
Most often when people visit Greece, they do so with the goal of visiting at least one of the Greek islands. If you’re one of those travelers that feel bothered by visiting popular places like this one or Paris, this will certainly not be the destination for you. And oh yes, everyone knows about its beauty so it will certainly be swarmed with tourists, especially on islands like Santorini or Mykonos.
Greece is truly a once-in-a-lifetime type of destination.
